ST. SIMONS ISLAND TOURS AND BASIC FISHING FOR SMALL PARTIES & FAMILIES

We are a small, part time charter operation that exists to facilitate requests of the sightseeing and basic fishing public.

6 persons maximum
weight restrictions exist

The idea is to facilitate "round the island tours" and possibly some fishing for the kids or folks that just want to catch without any real expectations.

The captain, DJ Price (USCG Licensed) has been a mariner for nearly 4 decades and 4 generations before him but is NOT an experienced fisherman, he can facilitate his group in catching and will gladly do so, but his first priority is to provide a safe, fun, relaxing cruise with a lunch or dinner stop and/or swimming if requested.

Evening/sunset cruises are the best experience around the Golden Isles.

Once we get a system down and get moving with the direction of the company a new and exciting direction will be available ASAP.

For now the associated touring activities will be done with our 27 foot Grady White Center Console.

The plan:



A wonderful trip around St Simons Island that starts at a specific location and returns to that location



The vessel:



The trip will be done in a 33 foot or longer "go-fast" style boat. Most folks recognize these boats as Cigarette boats, but that's actually a brand name, and who knows, a Cigarette may be the vessel.




The trip:



The plan is to depart from the location and make a two-hour tour of the interior of the St. Simons area waterways stopping at a lunch stop around the two-hour mark. Post lunch we use the remaining hour to run offshore in front of St. Simons then start working our way back.




Extras



Depending on seating and availability we may elect to have a local with historical knowledge add commentary during the ride, as the captain must be fully engrossed in piloting the vessel.


We may offer to the evening run an extension of the trip to return at sunset which makes for a memorable experience.
